FAQ
How do I convert a Unix timestamp to a date?

Paste it into the Timestamp panel. Seconds or milliseconds are auto-detected by digit count, and the local time, UTC time and ISO-8601 string appear in the result panel.

What's the difference between seconds and milliseconds timestamps?

Unix time is conventionally seconds since 1970-01-01 UTC. JavaScript's Date works in milliseconds. A 10-digit number is almost always seconds; a 13-digit number is almost always milliseconds — this tool detects which by length.

How do I get the current Unix timestamp?

Click "Use now." It fills in the current moment as both a timestamp and a date, in both directions.
